Short version: we don't track you. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, no tracking scripts and no forms on this site.
Cookies
This site does not set any tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. Everything on the page — fonts, images, maps and scripts — is served from our own server, so no third party is contacted when you browse.
Server logs
Like almost every website, our web server keeps standard access logs: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, your browser's user-agent string and the referring page. These are used only to keep the site secure and working, and are not shared with anyone else.
Outbound links
Links to other websites go through a short redirect on our site (addresses starting /go/). When you use one, we record the date and time, which link was used and which page of ours it was on. We don't record your IP address or anything that identifies you in this log. It simply tells us which links are useful.
Once you arrive on another website — such as LNER, Trip.com, a hotel booking site or an attraction — their own privacy policy and cookies apply.
If you email us, we use your message and address only to deal with your enquiry. We don't add you to any mailing list or share your details.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it. Contact hello@londonnortheasternrailway.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
