Affiliate disclosure
Some links on this site may be affiliate links. If you click one and then buy something, we may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra.
Which links?
Links to ticket retailers and hotel booking sites are the kind of links that may become affiliate links. Links to official attraction websites and to LNER's own information pages are there because they're the most useful source, not because we're paid.
The "Trip.com" ticket buttons and the hotel buttons in each station's "Where to stay" section (such as Trip.com, Millennium Hotels and Resorts, Thistle Hotels and ZenHotels) are affiliate links through the Awin network: if you book after clicking one, we may earn a commission.
Our LNER Perks page includes the site owner's personal LNER Perks refer-a-friend link: if you join through it and complete a qualifying journey, you and the site owner each receive £10 of LNER Perks credit.
Affiliate links are marked in the page code with rel="sponsored", and every outbound link passes through a short /go/ address on our site so we can keep them up to date.
Does it affect what we write?
No. We choose what to include based on what's useful to travellers. We don't accept payment for coverage, and commission never changes what a guide says. Where the official source is best — for example LNER for Delay Repay or the Railcards website for Railcards — we link there.
Prices
You pay the same price whether or not you use our link. Always compare options: the train company's own website usually has no booking fee.
