LNER Perks explained, plus £10 credit with my link
LNER Perks is LNER's loyalty scheme. You join with an LNER account on the LNER website or app, and LNER says it has more than 1.5 million members.
Members get credit to spend on future LNER bookings, plus offers and competitions. If you're not a member yet, you can also get £10 of extra Perks credit by joining through my referral link below.
Get £10 LNER Perks credit with my link
I travel with LNER and I’m a member of their loyalty scheme LNER Perks. They gave me a special offer to share with my friends.
Once you have joined LNER Perks via the link below and completed your first journey with LNER, we both get £10 LNER Perks credit which we can then spend on our next booking. Here’s a link to register:
What LNER Perks gives you
These are the main member benefits LNER lists (as of September 2026):
- £5 credit as soon as you join, which you can put towards LNER Advance tickets booked with LNER on purchases of £5.15 or more.
- 2% credit back when you travel with LNER, whether LNER runs all or just part of your journey. Earned credit can be spent on LNER Advance tickets booked directly with LNER.
- Tickets bought elsewhere can still earn the 2%: you add an eligible ticket for an LNER train in the LNER app within 7 days of travel (conditions apply).
- Monthly offers from LNER and partner brands, and monthly competitions for members.
- Dine Out with Perks: members who spend £30 or more in one transaction on the LNER app or website can unlock dining offers at restaurants along the route, shown in the LNER app.
- Refer a friend: £10 Perks credit for you and £10 for a friend who joins and travels.
The small print for the £10 offer
From LNER's refer-a-friend terms:
- The £10 is LNER Perks credit added to your LNER account, not cash.
- You must be new to LNER Perks and aged 18 or over.
- After joining, book £30 or more of travel directly with LNER on its website or app. Tickets bought through other retailers don't count.
- The credit is added after you've completed your journey, and isn't given if the booking is cancelled or refunded.
- LNER can change or end the offer, and the full terms are on LNER's website.
Questions and answers
How do I join LNER Perks?
Use the link above, or join on LNER's website or in the LNER app. You sign in to your LNER account, or create one with your name and email address, and then join Perks.
Do I get the £10 if I book through another retailer?
No. For the referral reward, the qualifying booking of £30 or more must be made directly with LNER on its website or app, and you need to complete the journey.
What can I spend Perks credit on?
LNER says the £5 joining credit and the 2% earned credit can be spent on LNER Advance tickets booked directly with LNER. The £10 referral credit is for spending on a future LNER booking.
Does the person who referred me get anything?
Yes. When you join through a member's link and complete a qualifying journey, you each receive £10 of LNER Perks credit. On this page, that member is the owner of this website.
